Meet Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson was born in Utah and lived in seven different states before moving to Colorado in 1978. He grew up hiking and fishing all over Colorado, Wyoming and parts of Utah and Idaho. He earned his bachelors degree in Zoology at Brigham Young University while working as a home-care and hospice nurse. He attended dental school at the University of Colorado at Denver and graduated in 2001. He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA for his periodontal residency which he completed in 2004. He had so many patients traveling down from Cheyenne that he quickly went to work to acquire a license in Wyoming in 2005 and has been commuting to Cheyenne at least 1 day a week since then.
He and his wife, Valerie met on a blind date in college and were married in 1995. They have 3 girls, Rachel, Erin & Calista and 1 boy, Nathan that keep them both busy with all of their activities.
