I
received both my dental degree and certificate in periodontology
from the University of Iowa (1972 D.D.S., 1974 M.S.). A native
of Iowa, being born in Sioux City and raised in Fort Dodge. Upon
completion of my program, we moved to Colorado to establish the
practice in 1974. I am married to Janet and we have three
children, Kim (33), Ashlee (29) and Megan (25). Kim is married
to Alan Strope, a builder in Fort Collins, and they have three
children of their own, Taylor (13), Taryn (10) and Traegan (8). Ashlee is
a nurse in charge of coordinating training care at Northern
Colorado Medical Center and married to Mitch Janasek who is a
family practice doctor here in Fort Collins. Megan graduated in
Equine Science at Colorado State University and now manages a
horse farm providing training and riding lessons.
Up until now, much of our time has been devoted to raising our
family. Megan has kept us very busy with all the activities
associated with her horses. She was chosen as The
Coloradoan's "Female Athlete of the Year" in her
senior year of high school, having received 10 varsity athletic
letters, for her participation in basketball, tennis and
volleyball. She is also a world champion rider on her Morgan
horses. Ashlee is kept busy working and going to classes, and is
planning on getting married this coming year. Kim has her hands
full raising our three grandchildren and working with her
husband’s company, Savant Homes.
Our hobbies include tennis and golf, as well as gardening,
woodworking, camping, and fishing.
I
am past president of the Larimer County Dental Society, as well
as the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontitis and past trustee
to the Colorado Dental Association. I am active in our church
and previously involved in the United Way and Sertoma.

I
was born in Utah and lived in seven different states before
coming to Colorado in 1978. I grew up hiking and fishing all
over the state. I served a mission in Chile for two years, where
I became fluent in Spanish and learned a lot. I earned a
bachelor's degree in Zoology at Brigham Young University, then
working in home-care and hospice nursing for about two years. I
went to dental school at the University of Colorado in Denver
and graduated in 2001. I then attended Virginia Commonwealth
University in Richmond for my periodontal residency, which I
completed in 2004. I really enjoy practicing here in Fort
Collins.
My
wife Valerie and I met on a blind date in college and married in
1995. We have four great kids. Rachel is 7 and attends Zack
Elementary. Erin is 5 and will join her sister at Zack this
fall. 3-year old Calista is excited about pre-school, and 1-year
old Nathan fills his time by getting into everything. We all
love being in Fort Collins and escape to the mountains whenever
possible. I also enjoy sports and reading.
I am
a member of the Larimer County Dental Society, the Colorado
Dental Association, the American Dental Associating, the Rocky
Mountain Society of Periodontics, and the American Academy of
Periodontology. I am also on staff at Poudre Valley Hospital
doing dentistry for people with disabilities and part time
faculty member at the University of Colorado school of
Dentistry.

I am a gal who loves dental
hygiene. I love to help people have healthy mouths and be their
best.
Since October 2000, I've worked
for Dr. Lindeberg. 20 years before that I worked for another
periodontist. I keep learning for both Dr. Lindeberg and Dr.
Johnson.
I am married to a retired
dentist and have a son who is a dentist and is going to Japan in
the U.S. Air force. I enjoy biking to Windsor, Loveland,
Wellington or wherever. Hiking is awesome too. My husband says
I've done 30 14,000 foot peaks, but that's nothing compared to
his 54. Hopefully I can do another this summer, but I'll have to
get in shape!
I have my B.S. degree in dental
hygiene for the University of Wisconsin at Kansas City.
Come see us soon! |
